Hapag-Lloyd Cruises has opened bookings for its 2026/2027 season comprised of 50 trips on the two luxury ships EUROPA and EUROPA 2 as well as 70 expedition trips on the three sister ships HANSEATIC inspiration, HANSEATIC nature and HANSEATIC spirit. Voyages operate between September 2026 to October 2027.
The program includes a voyage encompassing the Western Australia coastline, from Broome to Fremantle as part of a 17-day sailing on EUROPA 2 from Singapore to Perth, departing on 24 January 2027.
After which, is a 19-day ‘Heading for Kangaroos, Koalas and Kiwis‘ itinerary from Perth to Auckland, sailing across the Great Australian Bight from Albany to Kangaroo Island, with calls in Adelaide, Melbourne, Sydney and across the Tasman. The journey sails from the WA capital on 10 February.

In the Autumn of 2026, it will set course from the Mediterranean to the Canary Islands, from where it will travel around the African continent, calling at new ports such as Dakar, Banjul, Sao Tomé and Zanzibar. On its Christmas trip, it will combine the Seychelles and Maldives as well as the island worlds of Thailand and Malaysia with tropical beaches and Asia’s megacity Singapore.
Also in autumn 2026, EUROPA will extend the summer with six Mediterranean cruises before crossing the Atlantic for Christmas in New York City. The small luxury ship will then point its bow south to spend the Advent season and holidays in the Caribbean. The winter months include South American route and a special premiere – a never-before-seen combination along the coasts of South, Central and North America, with EUROPA connecting Valparaiso with San Francisco and travels to eight countries in 29 days. The ship will then unlock Canada’s west coast, which is back on the program in March 2027 after a break of several years. In spring, there is a short Mediterranean season, followed by an extensive range of summer trips in Northern Europe, with four travel combinations available, between 42 and 111 days.

The three identical expedition sister ships HANSEATIC nature, HANSEATIC inspiration and HANSEATIC spirit are centred on polar nature experiences in the Antarctic and Arctic, impressive winter trips with the Northern Lights in Scandinavia and the Gulf of Bothnia, as well as the natural and cultural wealth of the Atlantic islands and African coasts.
HANSEATIC inspiration will explore the South American coasts in autumn 2026 and spring 2027, including the Panama Canal, Chile’s fjords and two trips on the Amazon to Iquitos and back. The small expedition ship will spend the winter in the Antarctic. The Great Lakes of North America are also back on the schedule, with the HANSEATIC inspiration reaching Lake Superior on three trips and exploring it intensively. Guests can look forward to a special premiere route from Reykjavik to Kangerlussuaq, as this trip combines a circumnavigation of Iceland with South and West Greenland.

HANSEATIC spirit‘s voyages take in the extraordinary natural environments and habitats of Madagascar and South Africa, including the Nosy Hara archipelago and Mayotte. In the Antarctic, the program offers two legendary routes: an expedition from cape to cape and the semi-circumnavigation of the Antarctic from the tip of Tierra del Fuego to New Zealand. The route through the Japanese South Seas with little-known island worlds, including the Kerama Islands, also sets new standards. The crossing of the Northwest Passage rounds off the diverse offering aboard HANSEATIC spirit.
For travellers who prefer shorter adventures, HANSEATIC nature offers exciting insights into the world of expeditions right on their doorstep on nearby routes. The autumn and winter program from and to Hamburg offers northern lights magic, a hyggelig Advent season and Scandinavian winter wonderland with Norway and Lapland. On the journey from Hamburg to Seville in April 2027, HANSEATIC nature explores the western European coast on seven rivers before uniting all nine Azores islands on one trip in May. The schedule is rounded off by a long Arctic summer with a variety of routes around Spitsbergen – both circumnavigations of the archipelago or in a route combination with Norway or northeast Greenland.
