A new complimentary specialty restaurant, Basil + Bamboo, will be rolled out across the Windstar Cruises fleet, with Star Seeker to feature the new offering when it debuts in December 2025.
Basil + Bamboo will take the place of Cuadro 44 across the line’s fleet in 2025, being introduced first on Star Breeze in February 2025.
“As the Official Cruise Line of the James Beard Foundation, we continue to prioritise bringing exceptional dining experiences to our guests. The introduction of Basil + Bamboo will further enhance and diversify the culinary offerings available aboard,” Windstar Cruises’ Chief Operations Officer Stijn Creupelandt said.
“This new dining venue perfectly complements the elevated ambiance of Star Seeker and the exciting destinations she will visit.”

Among the main dishes, expect miso black cod with pea purée, Jamon Ibérico de Bellota with crispy brussel sprouts in a Korean honey-soy glaze and free-range chicken served with Jerusalem artichokes and yuzu kosho.
Desserts on the menu will offer a similar fusion of flavours, with standout items including a Citrus Olive Oil Cake with lemon cream and Greek yogurt ice cream, as well as a Chocolate Caramel Crémeux paired with ginger-cinnamon hibiscus ice cream and sake caviar.
Other dining venues aboard Star Seeker will include Amphora, The Yacht Club, Star Grill, and 24-Hour Complimentary Room Service.
