A SG$45 million investment will see Singapore Airlines upgrade its SilverKris and KrisFlyer Gold lounges at Singapore Changi Airport Terminal 2 over the next two years.

Renovations will commence on 15 April 2025 and are expected to be completed by mid-2027.

The project aims to “elevate the on-ground customer experience” by expanding the lounges’ space and capacity by 50%, and enhancing amenities across the board. The upgraded lounges will also feature design and service elements inspired by the airline’s flagship lounges at Terminal 3.

“This significant investment underscores Singapore Airlines’ unwavering commitment to elevating the end-to-end travel experience for our customers,” Senior Vice President Customer Experience Yeoh Phee Teik said. “This upgrade reaffirms our continued dedication to providing a seamless, world-class experience that meets the high expectations of our discerning customers.”

The new First Class SilverKris Lounge will feature a spacious layout with high ceilings and floor-to-ceiling windows. A revamped bar will provide a premium experience with barista services in the morning. Live cooking stations will serve a variety of Singaporean, Asian, and Western dishes, alongside an expanded buffet.

The renovation will also see the Business Class SilverKris Lounge will increase in size by 30%, offering a quiet rest area with recliners, a redesigned living room, and flexible seating for work, dining, or relaxation. A full-service bar will serve barista-made coffee and signature cocktails.

Meanwhile, the KrisFlyer Gold Lounge will double in capacity and include diverse seating, workstations, dining spaces, and upgraded amenities such as in-lounge restrooms and shower suites.

Renovations will be phased to minimise disruptions, starting with the First Class SilverKris Lounge in April 2025, followed by the Business Class lounge in late 2025, and the KrisFlyer Gold Lounge in the first half of 2026.
