For 25 years in German-speaking countries, the Club has stood for unique events on land and an attractive bonus miles program with exclusive reward offers, as well as many other special benefits for its members.

Exclusive benefits at sea and on land
While each of the five ships fulfils personal dream vacations at sea, the regular club events on land create additional highlights and offer special experiences that are uniquely curated and not for sale over the counter. With around 50 events per year, each with a thematic focus, the Hapag-Lloyd Cruises Club offers a wide variety and complements the cruise offerings with a wide range of trips. From discovering new cultural landscapes to unique concert experiences in a wide variety of genres from classical to pop, various sporting events to trips with a culinary focus – members experience the world in a new way, yet with the usual Hapag-Lloyd Cruises standard for a perfect travel experience.
All events and trips are hand-picked to provide a perfectly coordinated all-round package with personal attention from experienced tour guides and create space for personal encounters, shared interests, and unforgettable experiences in an intimate atmosphere.
Whether it’s a private visit to the Louvre after regular opening hours, a city trip to the Formula 1 circuit in Abu Dhabi, or a study trip off the beaten track to Bhutan: With the Hapag-Lloyd Cruises Club, guests experience holiday moments that are in no way inferior to the experience at sea – and where doors sometimes open that remain closed to others. In July, for example, the club is offering its members and fans of the famous tenor Andrea Bocelli a trip to his homeland, Tuscany. In addition to a concert in the spectacular ambience of the open-air “Teatro del Silenzio” arena, they will be given access to Casa Bocelli on the family’s wine estate, including a personal meeting with the artist’s nephew, Alessio Bocelli.
Club members also enjoy attractive benefits on board the ships. On every voyage, they are personally welcomed by officers with an exclusive “Club Cocktail.” The specially developed bonus miles system rewards guests’ loyalty. With each voyage, they collect bonus miles that can be redeemed for attractive offers over a period of five years. Whether it’s credit for drinks, laundry services, internet packages, spa services, or training sessions with a personal trainer or golf pro: the use of bonus miles is flexible.
Furthermore, several times a year, Club members benefit from exclusive bonus offers for selected voyages. On these voyages, the bonus miles can be used for free passages, price discounts, or a suite or cabin upgrade. The personal attention also offers the opportunity for a customised bonus miles offer for the personal dream voyage. Welcome to the club
The Hapag-Lloyd Cruises Club is open to anyone who enjoys the special experience of traveling with Hapag-Lloyd Cruises. From the start of their membership, members enjoy all the benefits of the club. In addition to a one-time joining fee of €170, a fee of €70 is charged starting in the second calendar year. Three status levels – Blue, Gold (from 15,000 award miles), and Platinum (from 50,000 award miles) – offer additional benefits.
