Bookings are now open for Aman Rosa Alpina, the ultra-luxury hospitality brand’s reimagining of the iconic Rosa Alpina hotel in the heart of Italy’s UNESCO-listed Dolomites, which is set to reopen on 24 July 2025.
The renovation – announced four years ago by Aman – includes a complete redesign of all guestrooms and suites, the addition of two 150-square-metre Aman Suites, and a revamped Chalet Zeno, now featuring two larger suites for up to four guests.
Aman Rosa Alpina will also offer a variety of new culinary experiences. These include an Italian grill, a breakfast room with live cooking stations, and a refined lounge for cigars and aged spirits. A private wine library will host tastings, and a new Japanese restaurant is slated to debut this winter.

Adding to the retreat’s appeal is the newly constructed Aman Spa, which features three swimming pools, a jacuzzi, and a curated treatment menu that “draws on the Dolomites’ restorative powers.”
“The reimagining of Rosa Alpina as Aman Rosa Alpina marks a meaningful chapter for our brand,” said Vlad Doronin, Chairman and CEO of Aman Group. “What began as admiration quickly turned into a shared dream – to preserve and elevate the spirit of this unique place for future generations of Aman guests.”
Designed by internationally acclaimed architect Jean-Michel Gathy, the transformation fuses the property’s alpine heritage with contemporary sophistication. Signature Aman elements such as privacy, serenity, and intuitive service, are woven throughout the redesign.Timber, black metal accents, and natural stone ensure the hotel’s alpine spirit remains intact, while a double-height arrival space anchored by a bespoke bar sets the tone for elegant hospitality.
For families, dedicated game rooms and three private cinemas cater to all ages, while the Ski Lounge ensures seamless access to over 1,200 kilometres of winter slopes. In summer, activities like hiking, biking, and guided excursions to the Pizzinini family’s private mountain cabins offer immersive outdoor experiences.
Reflecting on the transition, Hugo and Ursula Pizzinini said the partnership with Aman honours the legacy of the family’s ownership of the hotel. “Aman Rosa Alpina will continue to embody the spirit of the region, with the authenticity and excellence our guests have come to expect,” they said.
Reservations for both the summer and upcoming winter seasons are now open.
