Luxury cruise line Cunard has announced an exclusive new partnership with the legendary Abbey Road Studios, bringing a first-of-its-kind “Listening Lounge” experience to Queen Elizabeth later this year.
Set in the ship’s Commodore Club, the 60-minute audio journey features curated playlists hand-picked by the Abbey Road team. Music lovers can expect selections from iconic artists including Ed Sheeran, Fela Kuti, Gregory Porter, Ezra Collective, Little Simz, and The Beatles — whose Liverpool roots echo Cunard’s own spiritual home.
The curated musical experience also highlights Abbey Road’s renowned film score legacy, offering “goose-bump recordings” from legendary soundtracks like The Lord of the Rings, Harry Potter, Skyfall, and recent blockbusters such as Barbie, Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse, and Gladiator II.
The listening experience will be delivered through high-resolution Bowers & Wilkins headphones.

Katie McAlister, President of Cunard, described the collaboration as a perfect harmony of luxury travel and iconic sound. “We’re always exploring new ways to make life on board even more special, and incredible voyages deserve incredible soundtracks,” she said.
“Whether guests are unwinding with a cocktail, watching the waves roll by, or just taking a moment for themselves, our exclusive Listening Lounge experience will set the mood beautifully.”
Guests can enjoy the lounges on select sea days starting in October, as Queen Elizabeth embarks on her maiden Caribbean season from Miami. There will also be a specially crafted menu of cocktails designed to pair with the music.
Jeremy Huffelmann, General Manager at Abbey Road Studios, added: “We’re thrilled to collaborate with Cunard… We are excited to bring this incredible musical heritage to Queen Elizabeth this year.”
A special Abbey Road at Sea voyage from Southampton to New York is set for October 2026, featuring live performances, exhibitions, and Q&As.
