MGallery has opened its first property in Albania. Green Coast Hotel – MGallery Collection, located between mountains and the Ionian Sea, the hotel mixes elements of Illyrian, Roman, Byzantine and Ottoman influences that blend into the surroundings.

Inside, the property has 131 rooms, including 21 suites and one presidential suite. In the rooms, guests can expect “a modern take on the seaside lifestyle,” such as curved furnishings, natural materials and mineral hues.

Dining and Wellness

From breakfast to dinner, Mosaic Restaurant serves seasonally inspired plates, designed around local ingredients and paying homage to Mediterranean, Middle Eastern, Asian and Latin American flavors. On the menu, travelers will find everything from Peruvian whitefish ceviche with lime to Middle Eastern chicken shish-taouk with paprika and cumin.

At Mente, the lobby bar, guests can discover Albanian specialties while watching the waves. Small sharing plates and cocktails—including the Golden Laurel, the hotel’s signature cocktail made with local raki infused with rosemary and sage—are on the menu.

The MGallery Collection hotel also houses a five-story spa. Holistic facial and body treatments using natural products enrich the menu and are offered outdoors for an immersive experience, lulled by the sound of the waves. Guests can, alternatively, opt for such experiences as yoga under the full moon, sound therapy by the sea at sunset and guided hikes on the Caesar circuit (a trek following in the footsteps of the emperor during his landing at Palasë).

Local Influences and Experiences

Additionally, Green Coast Hotel can arrange vineyard excursions, cooking classes and local honey tastings for guests. Other off-site experiences include relaxing on the pebble beach of Palasa or visiting Berat, a 2,400-year-old town and UNESCO World Heritage site.

At the Green Coast Hotel, the M Moment is none other than a sunrise paragliding descent. At dawn, guests will be welcomed with a gourmet breakfast at the top of the mountain.
