Emerald Cruises’ next yacht, Emerald Kaia, has an official launch date and inaugural itinerary. In addition, construction has begun on the yacht to follow, Emerald Raiya, which will set sail in June 2027.
Emerald Kaia’s Inaugural Voyage
Emerald Kaia will embark on its inaugural voyage—spanning the historic coastlines of Greece and Türkiye— on 4 April 2026. The 128-passenger yacht will sail from Limassol to Athens, traversing the Aegean Sea and exploring ancient wonders mixed with authentic local experiences.
A special moment for guests will be a private concert at Ephesus. Other itinerary highlights include:
- Exploring the Cave of the Apocalypse on Patmos
- Bodrum’s Mausoleum of Halicarnassus, one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World
- Authentic ‘DiscoverMORE’ experiences, including volcanic hikes, Turkish cooking classes and local wine tastings
- A guided tour of the UNESCO World Heritage site Delos
- A day at sea to enjoy the new yacht’s luxurious amenities

The sailing coincides with both Roman Catholic and Greek Orthodox Easter Festive celebrations, so guests will be immersed in the local traditions and festivities on the voyage.
Onboard Emerald Kaia, guests can expect new design highlights, such as the new Observation Sun Deck with a Spa Pool and expansive lounge area with cabanas. In addition, the new Night Market dining experience elevates evenings onboard. Wellness areas include an indoor/outdoor gym, a salt therapy lounge and a cold plunge.
Good to know: larger, “more luxurious” suites and staterooms include the option of connecting suites for groups or families.
Emerald Raiya’s Steel Cutting
Construction on Emerald Raiya has also reached a milestone with the official cutting of the first sheets of steel for its hull on 20 August during a ceremony at the shipyard in Vietnam.

With Emerald Kaia joining Emerald Azzurra and Emerald Sakara in 2026, and the future additions of Emerald Raiya in 2027 and Emerald Xara in 2028, Scenic Group says it is “committed to redefining luxury yacht cruising.”
