Azamara Cruises is buckling down on its destination immersion ethos, introducing a new range of after-dark shore tours in select destinations.

“While most cruise lines sail away before sunset, Azamara Cruises is just getting started,” the cruise line says as it launches the new ‘Stories Under the Stars’ program.

Guests will enjoy more time – and more local culture – beneath the night sky in some of the world’s most iconic ports,” Azamara said, also pushing its double overnight stays.

“Picture sipping local wine by lantern light in a secret Croatian garden, watching flamenco dancers under the stars in Seville, or hearing ancient legends by moonlight on the deck of Azamara’s intimate ships.”

Azamara Cruises will offer 28 double overnight stays across its fleet from Asia to Europe and beyond, allowing guests to spend two consecutive nights in port. In addition to the impressive number of double overnights Azamara also offers a selection of over 13,500 shore excursions and 246 exclusive nighttime excursions.

Highlights of double overnights with exclusive Azamara nighttime excursions include:

• Spain Cruise: Valencia, Malaga & Seville – Double overnight in Seville, Spain where guests can treat themselves to a Flamenco Evening at the legendary Tablao El Arenal and witness the expressive and evocative artistry of this renown dance.
• Southeast Asia Cruise: Bangkok, Ho Chi Minh City & Hong Kong – Double overnight in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam and ride in an open-air Jeep, sample local culinary delights and get a feel for how the locals live and play by night.
• Bermuda & Caribbean Cruise – Double overnight in Hamilton Bermuda where travelers can book a sunset cruise and sample libations prepared with the island’s national rum cocktail.

While not confirmed by Azamara Cruises, LATTE can confirm that Azamara Pursuit is scheduled for a Double overnight stay on Sydney Harbour at White Bay, arriving in the morning of 31 December and departing the early afternoon of 2 January 2027.

Azamara has partnered with local guides to offer an evolving collection of night tours that reveal the after-hours spirit of each destination. A few highlights include:

• Palma, Mallorca – Timeless Elegance: An enchanting evening at the historic Can Vivot palace, featuring a Spanish guitar performance in the Sala de la Música and a refined aperitif.
• Dubrovnik, Croatia – Old Town Hidden Garden Wine Escape: A sunset stroll through Old Town, followed by a curated Croatian wine tasting in a secluded garden tucked within the city walls.
• Málaga, Spain – An Authentic Evening by the Sea in Pedregalejo: A relaxed evening in a historic fishing district with seaside views and freshly grilled espeto, a local culinary tradition.
• Singapore – Nightlife Adventure: A Club Hopping Experience: Dive into the city’s electric nightlife scene, from stylish cocktail bars to high-energy clubs in Clarke Quay.

Stories Under the Stars:

New for 9+ night cruises, Stories Under the Stars invites guests to gather on the pool deck for an atmospheric evening of regional myths, folklore, and storytelling led by one of Azamara Cruises’ 250+ Destination Speakers. Set under the open sky and paired with s’mores-inspired desserts and chocolate-infused cocktails, these events bring the ancient legends of each region to life in a relaxed fireside-style format. No reservations required – guests walk in, settle into a cozy lounge chair with a blanket, and let the stories transport them.
