The Amalfi Coast has welcomed its first private luxury pool club with La Piscina at Caruso, A Belmond Hotel in Ravello, now open.
The day-to-night club features a newly redesigned infinity pool with sweeping views of the coastline, seamlessly blending contemporary design with Caruso’s 11th-century palatial ambience.
Guests can unwind in private cabanas, enjoy wellness programs, and indulge in “ozio creativo,” the Italian art of mindful idleness, with activities ranging from yoga and painting to astronomy sessions and moonlit swims.
“Embracing the intrinsically Italian concept of Villeggiatura, which celebrates the endless Italian summer vacation, La Piscina will serve as a sanctuary of relaxation and serenity,” Belmond said. “Here, guests can totally disconnect from the world and embrace a new, slower pace of travel.”

Signature experiences include cinema nights, sight-jogging with a personal trainer, and limoncello-making classes. Guests are welcomed with a La Piscina Essentials kit featuring Amalfi lemon-infused water, Belmond’s in-house magazine and curated local treats.
Two exclusive cabanas offer spa treatments, along with breathtaking views of Scala and Dragon Valley, and dedicated butler service.
Culinary excellence is at the heart of La Piscina, led by Executive Chef Armando Aristarco. Guests can enjoy Mediterranean cuisine inspired by local traditions, with summer events such as Ditirambo nights—festive evenings showcasing Cilento’s producers and La Dieta Mediterranea through food, music and dance.
Local craftsmanship also heavily features with design elements by Livio de Simone’s studio and regional artisans, who have added vivid, hand-painted textiles and ceramics.
