The Travel Corporation’s high-end small-group journeys operator, Luxury Gold, has unveiled a new itinerary called Spectacular Scotland. Developed in direct partnership with Visit Scotland, the 10-day tour will launch in 2026.

The tour has been designed in collaboration with Visit Scotland to align with shared sustainability goals—including a focus on combatting overtourism and championing local suppliers.

The itinerary includes MAKE TRAVEL MATTER® Experiences, each aligned with a United Nations Sustainable Development Goal (UN SDG), ideal for clients seeking values-driven travel. Guests will enjoy a blend of exclusivity and authenticity, from privately guided nature walks and marine conservation encounters to intimate, locally sourced fine dining.

Itinerary Highlights Include:

  • Highland Tartan Demonstration at Prickly Thistle
  • A women-run tartan mill preserving ancestral weaving techniques with a sustainable twist (Supports UN SDG 11).
  • Wildlife Conservation in Glencoe
  • Guests join rangers to explore conservation efforts protecting native species and habitats (Supports UNSDG 15).
  • Marine Conservation with the Hebridean Whale and Dolphin Trust
  • On the Isle of Mull, travellers learn how science and community engagement protect Scotland’s marine life (Supports UN SDG 14).
  • Sustainable Dining at Wedgwood The Restaurant
  • An elegant welcome dinner featuring foraged and locally sourced ingredients, with personal storytelling from the owners.

Destinations like Cairngorms National Park and Dornoch offer immersive alternatives to crowded city stops, giving guests a more authentic and spacious experience while supporting regional economies. The itinerary also features more overnights in destinations allowing for deeper more meaningful exploration. That includes responsible luxury stays, including at Cameron House on Loch Lomond, an eco-certified hotel recognised for conservation and biodiversity leadership.

“Luxury travellers are no longer asking if their trip makes an impact—they’re asking how,” said Toni Ambler, Managing Director of TTC Tour Brands.

“Spectacular Scotland gives travel agents the confidence to meet that demand with a truly unique itinerary that balances comfort, culture, and conscience.”Access the travel advisor tool-kit of the tour here.
