The new Connections wellness program from Banyan Tree aims to help couples, friends and family members forge deeper bonds and boost personal wellbeing at the same time through movement, mindfulness and shared rituals.

The new offering will be available from May 2025 at four Banyan Tree properties – Banyan Tree Vabbinfaru in the Maldives, Banyan Tree Phuket in Thailand, Banyan Tree Mayakoba in Mexico and Banyan Tree Anji in China.

“In a world where time together is increasingly fragmented, genuine connection is becoming rare,” Paul Hawco, Executive Director of Integrated Wellbeing at Banyan Tree’s parent company Banyan Group, said.

“Banyan Tree Connections was created in response to this universal longing—offering experiences that nurture relationships, inner wellbeing, and shared renewal in some of the world’s most awe-inspiring settings. This program reflects our belief that wellbeing is not just individual, but flourishes in togetherness.”

Each location offers a tailored journey that reflects its unique cultural and natural heritage. At Banyan Tree Vabbinfaru in the Maldives, guests will reconnect with nature through yoga, breathwork, and lagoon floating therapy. In Phuket, Thailand, sound healing and yoga are on the menu, while Mayakoba in Mexico offers Mayan-inspired wellbeing activities, like mangrove movement and Temazcal purification rituals. Lastly, Banyan Tree Anji in China provides a tranquil retreat with guided hikes and a White Tea Aroma Bath Bomb workshop.
