Anantara Golden Triangle Elephant Camp & Resort has unveiled its newest accommodation option, the Mekong Explorer Tent, offering panoramic views of Northern Thailand’s landscapes, renowned for their beauty.
Located just 4 km from the iconic Golden Triangle, the Mekong Explorer Tent sits where the borders of Thailand, Laos, and Myanmar converge. The tent, nestled within a 160-acre bamboo forest, provides sweeping views of the jungle, the mighty Mekong River, and the Golden Triangle, as well as sightings of the 20 rescued elephants of the Golden Triangle Asian Elephant Foundation roaming below.
“From birdwatching in the 160-acre bamboo forest to breakfast in the treetops with the Canopy dining experience, every moment at Anantara Golden Triangle is extraordinary,” a statement said. “The resort also offers a truly sustainable experience. From the complete elimination of single-use plastic to a reliance on solar power, the resort is also home to its own farm, complete with herb and vegetable gardens, grey Oyster mushroom farm, bee hives, and free-range chickens.”
