ROKI Collection Queenstown – an ultra-luxury urban retreat on the shores of Lake Wakatipu in New Zealand – has flagged its highly anticipated opening for mid-March 2025, with bookings now being accepted.
Every detail at ROKI (“Ro-Kee” is the te reo Mãori word for tranquil) Collection Queenstown has been crafted to offer an immersive sense of calm, and for guests to reconnect with their senses and breathe. The interiors are by acclaimed New Zealand designer Virginia Fisher and feature a harmonious blend of refined elegance and local craftsmanship.
The collection of 15 suites ranges from the intimate 50m² Junior Suite to the extravagant 550m² ROKI Suite. Every suite offers stunning panoramic views over the mountains and Lake Wakatipu, fireplaces, private bath tubs, and walk-in wardrobes.

- The ROKI Suite (550m²) – The ultimate in luxury with four private bedrooms, in-suite chef and butler, private lift access, rooftop plunge pool, and sauna.
- The Brunswick Suite (315m²) – A three-bedroom masterpiece with private terraces, outdoor fireplaces, in-suite chef and personal butler service.
- The Two-Bedroom Family Suite (88-101m²) – Designed for families, featuring separate bedrooms, a dedicated lounge, personal butler service and thoughtful amenities for all ages.
- The One-Bedroom Suite (75-80m²) – A spacious retreat with uninterrupted lake and mountain views, offering the perfect balance of privacy and comfort.
- The Deluxe Suite (60-65m²) and Junior Suite (50m²) – Sophisticated sanctuaries for those seeking understated luxury.
All guests can enjoy local drop-offs in the hotel House Car, Rolls Royce Cullinan, from 5pm – 9pm.
For gourmands, Essence at ROKI Collection Queenstown showcases a culinary narrative of New Zealand, seamlessly fusing modern European influences with the finest local ingredients led by Culinary Director Paul Froggatt, NZ’s Luxury Lodges chef of the year 2023/24. The Terrace restaurant is perfect for an aperitif, lunch, or relaxed dinner after a day of exciting experiences, designed for all weather and framed by two fireplaces.
