Bvlgari Hotels & Resorts will bring its luxury hospitality concept to the Caribbean with the opening of the Bvlgari Resort & Mansions Cave Cay in the Bahamas in 2029.
Located on the 220-acre Cave Cay Island in the Exumas, the development will feature 64 luxury suites and seafront villas, alongside 48 Bvlgari-branded private mansions and estates that are available for sale.
Cave Cay is renowned for its white-sand beaches, caves, and panoramic views of the Caribbean Sea and Atlantic Ocean.
“The Exumas have been establishing themselves in recent years as the ultimate glamorous destinations in the Caribbean,” Bvlgari CEO Jean-Christophe Babin said.
“We envision the Bvlgari Resort Cave Cay to shine as the ultimate sustainable luxury destination.”
Among the amenities on offer are a spa and wellness center, a multi-sports enclave, and a kids’ club. A highlight will be the Bvlgari Bar and Il Ristorante – Niko Romito, offering Michelin-starred dining curated by Chef Niko Romito. Visitors can also unwind at the signature beach club, La Spiaggia.
The resort’s marina will cater to both residents and visitors, providing docking facilities and a promenade lined with exclusive shops and gastronomic experiences.
Additionally, the marina will serve as the starting point for an exciting array of water sports and local excursions, including trips to secluded islands and sand dunes.
Emile Haddad, a leading investor in the project, explained that the values of the Bvlgari and the Cave Cay development team are aligned. “This partnership with Bvlgari brings together people who share a similar philosophy about building places,” he said. “A philosophy founded in quality, sustainability, and providing a superior experience at every level.”
Meanwhile, Deputy Prime Minister of the Bahamas the Hon. I. Chester Cooper highlighted the project’s potential to boost the region’s global tourism. “This project goes beyond luxury; it represents a significant step in our strategy to drive sustainable economic growth,” he said.
