Resorts World Cruises continues to grow its presence in Asia, with the fledgling cruise line confirming its newest ship Resorts World One will make its Indian debut when it homeports in Mumbai from 5 March until 1 June.
The 1,800-guest vessel, formerly Dream Cruises’ Explorer Dream, will sail three weekly roundtrip cruises from the Ballard Pier Extension berth of Mumbai International Cruise Terminal. These will include the two-night Weekend High Seas cruise departing on Fridays, the three-night Lakshadweep cruise to Agatti Island departing on Sundays, and a two-night Goa cruise departing Wednesdays.
“In support of the recently announced “Cruise Bharat Mission” by the Indian Government and the new world-class Mumbai International Cruise Terminal, we are excited to further boost India’s cruise tourism sector and bring the Resorts World One cruise ship to homeport in Mumbai,” Resorts World Cruises President Michael Goh said.

“Mumbai is the main gateway to cruising in India and Indians will have the convenience of departing from their ‘doorsteps’, without the need to fly to another country.”
Resorts World One, the second ship to join the Resorts World Cruises fleet after Genting Dream, will be deployed to India after the completion of its inaugural Middle East season which commenced in November.
The ship offers a “luxury ship-within-a-ship” concept — popular with major cruise lines — entitled The Palace. It features more than 40 suites, including two Palace villas, and 24-hour butler service as well as private facilities including a dedicated swimming pool, lounges and dining venues.
