Aman has confirmed that tennis greats Maria Sharapova and Novak Djokovic will continue to act as advisors for its wellness offering in 2025 as it revealed some highlights of this year’s program.

The luxury hotel firm announced a multi-year partnership with former elite athlete Sharapova in 2023, the first of its kind for the brand, with the deal to include the co-creation of wellness retreats across different Aman properties, each tailored to complement the Aman destination, focusing on preparation, performance, and recovery.

Djokovic came on board in a similar capacity in August 2024, with both appointments reinforcing Aman’s standing as a pioneer in the wellness space.

“For over three decades, Aman has become synonymous with creating peaceful and transformative retreats,” Aman said. “With a wellness philosophy grounded in nutrition, movement, mindfulness and bodywork – Aman’s properties present extensive facilities focused on holistic wellbeing, with treatments that draw on their surrounds to rejuvenate body, mind and spirit.”

Many of the therapies on offer in 2025 are heavily influenced by ancient traditions from around the world. For example, a new retreat in collaboration with Buddhist monk Geshe Yong Dong centres around the longevity benefits delivered by a closer connection to the elements. Entitled the Longevity Powered by Nature retreat, the experience is available at Amangiri, Aman’s property set amid the otherworldly surrounds of the Utah desert.

At Amangani, in the contrasting alpine setting of the Rocky Mountains, a new 60-minute Shirodhara Body Ritual, the resort’s first Ayurvedic treatment, has been introduced. It features the deeply calming practice of Shirodhara. where a stream of warm aromatic oil is poured onto the forehead.

Meanwhile, Amankora’s lodges in Bhutan will introduce Sound Bath Sessions in 2025, using healing instruments and soothing music to create an immersive soundscape, encouraging deep relaxation and emotional balance.

Over at Amangalla in Sri Lanka, Ceylon Crystal Therapy is now on offer – a rejuvenating ritual rooted in the island’s traditions.

This commitment to exploring the wisdom of ancient traditions is balanced with a focus on the latest innovations.

This is evident at Aman New York where Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP) Therapy had been added to the list of treatments on offer, part of a partnership with wellness and aesthetic centre, bodySCULPT.

“The advanced treatment uses the healing properties of platelets to stimulate tissue regeneration, improve skin tone and texture and even encourage hair growth,” the hotel firm said. “Its restorative benefits extend from cosmetic rejuvenation to wound healing, reflecting Aman’s commitment to trailblazing cutting-edge wellness in hospitality.”

Innovative launches at Amanzoe in Greece also demonstrate this commitment to staying abreast of the latest science. In 2023, the property introduced new Cellgym technology that mimics the impact of high-altitude training, providing the lungs with oxygen-rich and oxygen-reduced air in a process called Intermittent Hypoxia/Hyperoxia Training (IHHT). The resort simultaneously launched a new MesoJet system incorporating sub-dermal infusions of anti-aging compounds with skin tightening radiofrequencies.
