Oceania Cruises‘ Senior Vice President of Global Sales, Nikki F. Upshaw, is stepping down from her role with the ultra-premium cruise line. In a memo to travel advisors, Frank A. Del Rio, President of Oceania Cruises, said the sales leadership organisation structure would see Upshaw depart the brand “to pursue her personal passions and priorities.”
“At this time, no successor has been named, and our sales leaders will report to me for the interim period,” Del Rio said.

Oceania Cruises’ President of two years lauded Upshaw’s stellar career in the industry which spans close to four decades.

Del Rio added that Oceania Cruises’ sales team remains a strong force, with the team including Australia-based Jason Worth as VP International Sales; Tricia Wolf, VP Field Sales and Scott Kluesner, VP Strategic Accounts.
“I look forward to building on the strong partnerships Nikki has built and working directly with all of you in the coming year,” Del Rio concluded.
Upshaw’s exit comes days after Oceania’s parent company, Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings (NCLH), announced the appointment of Jason Montague as Chief Luxury Officer for both Regent Seven Seas Cruises and Oceania Cruises. Montague’s new position at NCLH will see Regent’s President of two years, Andre DeMarco, step down from her position in early March following a transition period.
