Oetker Collection has unveiled plans for a new addition to its portfolio with a property in St Tropez, France.

The St. Tropez project will be the 13th Masterpiece Hotel from Oetker Collection.

Nestled between the iconic town of St. Tropez and the beautiful beaches of Pampelonne in Ramatuelle (both 5 minutes drive away), the hotel will be reconstructed at the former site of Le Mas Bellevue St Tropez.

Featuring 53 rooms and suites each with a private terrace or patio, the site will be home to an oversized infinity swimming pool, an expansive wellness facility, an exciting bar and restaurant offerings with breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape and the sea. Guests can look forward to an authentic Provencal experience full of local flavours and sights in an ambiance that exudes glamour and authentic elegance, with both the premises and the gardens showcasing natural materials, inclusive of aged tiles, local stones, climbing vegetation and wooden pergolas.

The project is a joint partership between Oetker Collection and the Pariente and Essebag families. With the name forthcoming, the hotel is set to debut in time for the 2027 season. The property will comprise several small two-storey outposts, each offering panoramic views of the sea, pool and surrounding landscapes.

The St Tropez debut will mark the latest jewel in Oetker Collection’s crown, following the recently opened Hotel La Palma in Capri and the soon to be unveiled Vineta Hotel in Palm Beach. The Floridian property was previously operated by The Red Carnation Hotel Collection, and operated as the Chesterfield Hotel. Vineta Hotel is earmarked to welcome guests in 2025.

This latest announcement signifies the company’s ongoing commitment to expand its footprint slowly and carefully, and only in the world’s most glamourous destinations.Guests will revel in the luxury of a secluded setting, with the hotel designed to remain discreetly hidden from view, creating a private yet convivial cocoon. The grounds will feature native plants, olive trees, and artfully landscaped gardens, furthering the hotel’s commitment to preserving the area’s natural environment.

“We are simply delighted to have such a trinity of new projects, from recently launching Hotel La Palma in Capri, to our forthcoming first US hotel with The Vineta Hotel in Palm Beach, and now St Tropez – all are bywords for glamour and destinations beloved by many of our dear guests,” said Timo Gruenert, CEO of Oetker Collection.

“The St Tropez hotel contains all the ingredients of a true masterpiece, and we look forward to creating an unparalleled haven that embraces both the laid-back authenticity and sophistication of the region,” Gruenert added.
