Numinous LTR welcomes Canaves Collection to growing stable

Numinous Luxury Travel Representation is on a growth spurt, adding Canaves Collection to its representation portfolio in Australia and New Zealand.

A member of Virtuoso, Signature Travel Network and Small Luxury Hotels of the World, Canaves Collection operates six high-end properties in spectacular Santorini, Greece: Canaves Ena, Canaves Oia Suites, Canaves Villa, Canaves Sunday, Canaves Epitome and Canaves Elefas Villas.

Celebrating its 40th anniversary in 2025, the Canavas Collection is centred around the Chaidemenos family who were among the first families to introduce tourism to the fishing village of Oia in Santorini. Yiannis and Anna Chaidemenos transformed 17th century caves, once used to store wine, into designer-chic luxury hotel rooms.

Canaves Ena was the launch property, followed by Canaves Oia Suites. The collection is defined by its all-white minimalistic concept, which has redefined the meaning of luxury accommodation in Santorini.

In 2010, the Chaidemenos sons, Markos and Alexandros, took over the business, and their modern take on hospitality rocketed the brand to new heights with international awards.

The stable has steadily expanded since 2017 with the addition of the 8-suite Canaves Sunday and the 24 luxury villa, Canaves Epitome in 2018.

The Collection also features six stunning restaurants: Petra Restaurant and Panorama Dining Experience at Canaves Oia Suites; Elements and Omina at Canaves Epitome; Adami Restaurant at Canaves Ena and Veranda Apertivio Bar at Canaves Sunday.

Canaves Collection can also assist clients with a variety of experiences from Santorini, including sailing and yachting, hiking, wine tasting, private dining, guided tours with a private guide, wellness escapes and luxury transfers.
