The iconic rail journey through the Swiss Alps, the Glacier Express, now has a new website designed to enhance the booking experience.
A direct train connecting the railway stations of the two major Alpine mountain resorts of Zermatt and St. Moritz via Andermatt, it skips the stops made by local trains in order to complete the 291 km journey in eight hours, earning it the title of the “slowest express train in the world”.

Each feature of the new web portal has been designed to elevate the customer experience, according to the rail company.
“Together with the Capptoo AG agency, we have created a platform that awakens the desire for discovery,” it said.
“In addition to a fresh design, there is now even more inspiring content, an interactive route map, our new chatbot “Alpina” and specially expanded information for B2B customers. Digital travel planning becomes even easier, more intuitive and a real experience.”
