Marriott’s The Luxury Collection has opened its third Indonesian property, with the launch of The Sira in Lombok this month.
Located in West Nusa Tenggara province, the new property is a 90-minute drive from Zainuddin Abdul Madjid International Airport. With direct access to the white sands of Sire Beach, it also features views of Mount Agung.
It joins The Laguna, a Luxury Collection Resort & Spa, Nusa Dua in Bali and TA’AKTANA in Labuan Bajo in the Luxury Collection’s Indonesia portfolio.

Featuring 46 suites and 14 pool villas, The Sira is also home to a 1,400 square-metre Beach House with three bedrooms, a plunge pool and direct beach access. Meanwhile, the Presidential Suite is a two-storey sanctuary with a full-sized rooftop infinity pool and three bedrooms, across 1,000 square-metres.
With hotel interiors conceptualised by IU Design, the resort pays tribute to the island’s heritage while infusing a sense of modern luxury. Restaurants include the Island’s Table, outdoor eatery Sija and Mediterranean offering, Medsa.
Throughout the property, local craftsmanship is showcased with handwoven tenun ikat fabrics from Lombok and intricately detailed solid teak lattice walls from Java.
Tiu Kelep Waterfall, Bayan Old Mosque, and Sukarara Weaving Village are among nearby attractions.
