Viking showcased the best of Danube in summer to a group of travel advisors from Australia and New Zealand earlier this month.

Escorted by Viking’s Lee Siefken, Director of Trade Marketing & Guest Communications, the hand-picked advisors (and their plus-ones) experienced Viking’s fabulous Romanic Danube itinerary, a top-selling 8-day voyage along the famed waterway, cruising from Regensburg, Germany to Budapest, Hungary.

On the voyage aboard Viking Tor, advisors and their travelling companions visited Budapest’s Castle District and crossed the famous Chain Bridge. They explored Göttweig Abbey, one of Austria’s most revered monastic centres, and made dumplings with Wachau Valley apricots.

Some of the group also took an excursion to visit historic Salzburg.

The trip included two days in Vienna, celebrating the Austrian capital’s musical heritage at a concert featuring works by Mozart and Strauss.
