InterContinental Hotels & Resorts has announced the debut of the InterContinental San Antonio Riverwalk. The 390-room hotel is only steps away from the Texan city’s famed River Walk and with four new restaurants and bars, the impeccable Les Clefs d’Or concierge service — it sets a new standard for luxury accommodations in the region.
The 21-storey property is within walking distance of many of the city’s attractions, including The Alamo, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, as well as The Pearl and La Villita Historic Village. The hotel also provides guests with direct access to a water taxi landing zone, granting them an alternative mode of transportation along the waterways.
The hotel also offers guests a rooftop pool, 24-hour in-room dining, on-site valet, a dedicated house car, a 24-hour fitness centre, and a Club InterContinental Lounge.

Meanwhile, this past week InterContinental Hotels & Resorts has opened another property in Washington state and also announced a return to the Philippines.
InterContinental Bellevue at the Avenue welcomed first guests last week. This 208-room luxury hotel, located across Lake Washington from Seattle, is situated within the $1bn+ Avenue Bellevue complex developed by Fortress Development, marks the brand’s debut in the Pacific Northwest.
The 250-room InterContinental Clark will be at the centre of the New Clark City luxury estate in the Philippines and signals the return of the luxury hotel brand to the country. Construction on the project is scheduled to commence in 2027 ahead of an earmarked opening in 2031.
