Adventure World names Glover as Head of Marketing

Trade role lures News Corp exec to The Travel Corporation

Adventure World has announced Elizabeth (Liz) Glover as its new Head of Marketing. In a press release, Adventure World – the soft adventure, sustainability-focused brand of The Travel Corporation – said Glover brings a wealth of industry expertise and a deep commitment to responsible travel to the role, positioning Adventure World for continued growth and positive environmental impact.

Glover previously held the position of General Manager, Travel Industry, Product and Partnerships at News Corporation Australia for over 18 months, where she honed her skills in fostering strategic partnerships and developing innovative marketing initiatives. Her extensive experience working with some of the travel industry’s most iconic brands further strengthens her qualifications.Prior to her role at News Corp, Glover was the Director of Marketing, Asia Pacific for Silversea for three years. Her career also included contracts with Uniworld Boutique River Cruises and Brand USA. Glover cut her teeth in the trade at Scenic Luxury Cruises & Tours, where she worked across various roles over nearly 11 years, including as National Marketing Manager, Acting GM Sales and Marketing and Director of Marketing and Strategy.
