1000 Mile Travel Group (1000MTG) has introduced a new self-branded option for Australian travel agencies. The new offering gives independent travel businesses the opportunity to operate under their own unique brand while leveraging the extensive support, resources, and partnerships of a truly global travel host agency.
Lauren Gray, General Manager Australia, 1000MTG says the new option enables travel agencies to “empower them to grow their business under their own brand identity while benefiting from 1000MTG’s industry expertise, global buying power, and comprehensive support services.”

Nicola Veltman, CEO and Co-Founder of 1000MTG expressed enthusiasm about the new prospects available for travel agencies to operate under their own brand and simultaneously become a part of the 1000MTG family.
“After many years of being asked for the 1000MTG offering under an independent model, with extensive research and unique creation, we have decided now is the time to take this to market for our internal business owners and interested parties who qualify,” Veltman said.
To qualify for the self-branded offering, agencies are required to meet certain criteria including the requirement that they have at least two members in their agency at any time and operate a non-corporate niche, where the corporate technology offering remains under the fully branded 1000MTG model.*
1000MTG says the new offering represents the company’s dedication to fostering a supportive and flexible environment for travel advisors, enabling them to differentiate themselves in a competitive market while benefiting from 1000MTG’s robust infrastructure, including access to exclusive deals, and a network of industry partnerships.
In July, 1000MTG welcomed two new self-branded agencies to its independent model and has vast interest from many more. “We look forward to supporting and growing the entrepreneurial spirit in our beloved industry and we are ecstatic to have a home for them at 1000MTG,” Gray added.
The launch of 1000 Mile Travel Group’s independent model comes only hours after LATTE revealed a former member, Ivona Siniarska and her business Take Off Go, had aligned with FCTG’s Luxury Travel Collection Independent Member portfolio.
