Oceania Cruises’ Vista to sail 180-day World Cruise

101 ports, 43 countries, roundtrip from Miami, departing 6 January 2026

Oceania Cruises will deploy its upper-premium and ultra-modern ship, Vista, on its 2026 world cruise visiting 43 countries, 101 ports and 81 UNESCO World Heritage Sites, LATTE can reveal.

The 1,200-passenger Oceania Vista was only launched in May 2023 and features new dining experiences for the cruise line including Ember and the Aquamar Kitchen, both of which have received widespread acclaim.

Scheduled to sail from Miami on 6 January 2026, Vista will embark on a half-year-long circumnavigation of the globe encompassing South America, the South Pacific – including Australia (Sydney, Mooloolaba, Whitsunday Island, Townsville, Cairns and Darwin) – Southeast Asia, the Arabian Peninsula, the Mediterranean, the British Isles and the Nordic region.

The cruise line has begun promoting the sailing on its social media and website, with the Oceania Cruises’ website stating: “There have been many global voyages before, but never before has a new luxury ship sailed on a world cruise as epic as this.”On the 180-day long cruise, there will be exclusive shoreside events and multi-day, in-depth mid-cruise overland programs unlocking destinations like the Taj Mahal in India, Luxor in Egypt, the Arabian desert, Grabrok Crater in Iceland and Iguazú Falls in Argentina.

Pre-registrations are now open for Oceania Cruises’ 2026 Around the World Cruise ahead of bookings officially opening on 14 March 2024.

If the Miami roundtrip world cruise isn’t long enough, there is a pre-extension departing from Los Angeles on 20 December 2025 available, extending the voyage to 197 days duration. Alternatively, should guests wish to embark later, a 120-day cruise from San Diego to Miami will set sail on 7 March 2026.

According to the website, early bookers will be able to take advantage of an Exclusive Prestige Package, which includes one complimentary’s night accommodation pre-cruise, free transfer from hotel to ship, free laundry services, free onboard medical consultation, free shoreside events and US$1,000 Shipboard Credit per stateroom. That’s on top of Oceania Cruises’ simply MORE inclusions.

Pricing currently starts at:

  • AU$97,280 per guest – Los Angeles to Miami, departing 20 December 2025
  • AU$89,540 per guest – Miami roundtrip, departing 6 January 2026
  • AU$64,870 per guest – San Diego to Miami, departing 7 March 2026
