The first sea trials for Crystal Expedition Cruises’ long-awaited expedition ship, Crystal Endeavor, have been conducted in the Nordics over the past few days.

According to MV Werften, the shipping yard which is constructing the 200-passenger ultra-luxury ship, Crystal Endeavor has been put through its paces over three-days in the Baltic Sea, from Friday 5 to Sunday 7 March 2021.

“Based on the current weather forecast, extensive tests are expected to be carried out until Sunday to verify the functionality of important technical systems in service. Among other things, the propulsion system, steering and navigation will be tested under real conditions, and sound and vibration will be measured,” MV Werften said.
