Uniworld Boutique River Cruise Collection‘s River Countess resumed operation last weekend, three months after the vessel was struck and damaged in Venice by an out-of-control MSC Opera.

The 130-passenger River Countess was struck in early June and was initially expected to be out of action for four weeks, however the damage was worse than first thought and required a longer repair time.

River Countess returned to service on Sunday 8 September 2019, operating from Venice to Milan.
