On Saturday 4 June, The Farm at Cape Kidnappers welcomes one of New Zealand’s star chefs, James Stapley, for a weekend of food, wine and fun. Formerly of Whare Kea Lodge, the UK-trained James is now going it alone and creating a big name for himself in Wanaka at Bistro Gentil, where his enviable vegetable garden, berry house and greenhouse form the basis of his super fresh menus.
James will be in his element with The Farm at Cape Kidnappers’ homegrown Hawke’s Bay bounty. His gorgeous dinner will be matched to wines from one of his personal favourites, Pegasus Bay. Paul Donaldson from Pegasus Bay will co-host the dinner and take guests through his sublime New Zealand wines.
Event tariff is NZ$800 + GST per person for double occupancy. The package includes luxury suite accommodation, pre-dinner drinks and canapés, Saturday dinner paired with Pegasus Bay wines, full breakfast and guests’ choice of either a day of unlimited green fees or a 50 minute spa treatment per person.
For guests wishing to stay an additional night on either side of the event, a special tariff of $600 per person per night + GST for double occupancy is available.
This tariff for additional nights includes pre-dinner drinks, dinner, and breakfast.
