Scenic has taken another lucky group of travel agents to South America, travelling from Santiago, Chile through some of the highlights of Peru including Sacred Valley of the Incas, Machu Picchu and Cuzco.

Upon arrival in Santiago, the agents enjoyed a morning discovering the Barrio Lastarria district with morning tea Chilean style followed by lunch in the Central Market. Next they travelled to the Sacred Valley of the Incas where they enjoyed a luxurious stay at the Tambo del Inka, a Luxury Collection Resort & Spa.

Over the following three days the agents experienced the fascinating culture, unique lifestyle and the majestic scenery of the heartland of the Incan Empire.

This included two Scenic Enrich events – a visit to Hacienda Huayocarri for an Andean lunch and Chinchero village weavers demonstration, and a visit to the local community and school supported by Scenic in Ollantaytambo.

After a scenic rail journey to Machu Picchu where they spent a full day visiting the ancient Inca site and the fascinating ruins, the group headed to the historical city of Cuzco. Travelling on the Vistadome train they were treated to spectacular views of the snow-capped peaks of the Andes from the glass dome carriages.

They concluded their travels with a farewell dinner in the cosmopolitan city of Lima.
